Chocolate is better than cash! This 1910 Fry's Chocolate Cash Box proves it! An early marketing campaign had salesmen offering these sweet little tins filled with Fry's chocolate samples. Although the Fry's name is not found on the tin, the United Kingdom chocolatier was known for introducing their newest chocolates this way. A replica of a cash box in red, black and gold with the name 'Cash Box' on the top, the box measures 3" by 2" by 1". With exquisite details, the canister has a hinged lid and a tiny working movable handle. While chocolates were previously housed in the box, this little gem could ideally live up to its 'cash box' name and hold cash (folding money preferred) for a new graduate! Still a premier chocolate maker, Fry's currently markets Turkish Delight Candy and Chocolate Creams in the UK. But, alas, no cash boxes have been spotted!
