We are selling this attractive large Japanese Hokai lacquered box. This covered box on feet was sometimes used to store food and also as a gift box. This one was probably for food and is lacquered bright red with simple metal accents.
Condition: Some damages to the metal accents with missing nails. Some old damages and repairs to the wood and lacquer.
