HIDDEN PUSH BUTTON CLOSURE.  3 1/8" SQUARE.  NO SCRATCHES TO LEATHER, JUST A SMALL INDENT IN THE COVER WHICH IS VERY HARD TO DETECT AND A SMALL MARK ON THE INSIDE EDGE.  A GREAT PIECE ! BECAUSE MOST OF MY ITEMS ARE OVER 100 YEARS OLD, EXPECT TO SEE SOME AGE-RELATED WEAR OR A LITTLE IMPERFECTION HERE AND THERE ESPECIALLY ON LACE OR FABRIC.  NOTHING MORE THAN YOU WOULD EXPECT TO SEE AND ACTUALLY WANT TO SEE TO CONFIRM AGE.  SOMETIMES WHAT I MIGHT THINK IS NOTHING, YOU MAY NOT AGREE.
