Up for purchase is this vintage 1968 Corgi Gift Set 36 Oldsmobile Toronado Glastron Speedboat Set. The set is all original but the outer box has had the clear plastic display window replaced sometime in the past. The box has some edge wear and a half inch tear to one main end flap which can be seen in the last photo. The boat is missing one of the three figures.
The set has the following features.....The car has pop up lights which are operated by switch under the front bumper corner.
The directions for this are shown on the box inner side flaps.
.....Boat can be removed from its trailer.
.....The figures can be removed from the boat.
.....The dual motors can be turned to the left or the right.
All features work well.
One minor nick to the passenger side roof corner and some rubs/nicks to the rear of car and trunk area.
Nice spring suspension on all four corners.
No cracks to the glass.
All four jewel headlights are present and the mechanism that raises and lowers the headlights is fine.
Tow hook complete with no damage to it.
Nice tires and the car rolls along freely.
Car is a bit dusty and could use a good cleaning.
The boat has no cracks to it or the windshield.
Original motors to the rear with both propellers that can be spun by hand.
Has two of the three figures in it, so missing only one figure. Please note these figures are both originals.

Boat mounts securely to the trailer.
Trailer rolls along freely.
Two original boat figures are complete with no pieces missing.
Outer box has all end flaps present with one main end flap having a half inch tear at the seam (last photo).

The clear plastic acetate display window has been replaced in the past but looks good.

The car measures approx 4 1/2 inches long and is approx 1:46 scale.
Certainly not a mint set but a good surviving one that has all original parts offered at a reasonable price.
