Irish Shamrock Knot Small Wooden Box
This small wooden box comes with a gold toned metal clasp and matching hinges. It is engraved with It is engraved with our original Irish Clover design, that is, a Clover Celtic Knot with a Trinity Knot weaved inside. St. Patrick used of the clover to describe the Holy Trinity to the natives of Ireland. The Trinity knot design first appears in the historical record around 400AD when Coptic missionaries traveled to Ireland and proceeded to produce the highly esteemed Illuminated manuscripts. It symbolizes the three fold Godhead - the three points represents Father, Son and Holy Ghost and the interwoven circle depicts the unity between the three.
