Robin's Egg Blue 18th C Bilston Or Battersea Enamel Motto Patch Box

Offered for your consideration is an Antique 18th Century Bilston or Battersea Robin's Egg Blue Enamel Motto Patch Box. It dates to the mid- to late-18th century and displays the motto: "A Friends Gift." It is in overall fair, as-pictured used estate condition with cracks and losses to the enamel. There is deterioration and the mirror is cracked.  Otherwise there is some edge wear, some fine and light surface scratching throughout and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
